If you love margaritas but have only just discovered the Tommy’s version, you’re in luck. This super simple variation of the most famous of all Tequila drinks sees
the agave syrup enter the fold over triple sec.

The result is a slightly sweeter, but just as refreshing version of the original. Volcán Tequila Blanco’s depth of flavour, combining bright fruit notes and subtle herbal tones, provides the perfect canvas for the sweet and sour harmony that makes this cocktail so wonderfully refreshing.

The recipe calls for black volcanic salt, prized by chefs for its robust flavour and striking colour. This remarkable ingredient is unique to volcanic landscapes, like the rich, fertile lands where the agave for Volcán Tequila is grown.

  • 60ml Volcán Tequila Blanco
  • 30ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 15ml Agave syrup
  • Black volcanic salt rim garnish (optional)

Slide a lime wedge around the lip of the glass, then roll through a small amount of salt to create the rim. The drink can be sipped through this for an enhanced taste experience.

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, shake for around ten seconds
then sTrain into an ice filled tumbler.
