TASTING NOTES

Appearance: A bright light pink colour with hints of orange

Aroma: The initial aromas are sweet, tingled with a salad of wild strawberries, raspberries and pomegranate seeds, it then develops a touch of freshness with blood oranges and star fruit. Black pepper, dark chocolate, cinnamon, dried flowers and new leather complete the bouquet.

Taste: On the palate the fleshy attack confirms the wine's voluptous character. The chiseled structure of the pinot noir is accompanied by a sensation of crisp stone fruit like plums and cherries. The texture is finely powdered. A delicate astringency underscores the long finish on pink grapefruit and lime zest.

FOOD PAIRINGS

Explore traditional slow cooked dishes. Go for fresh bitterness, slight acidity of red fruit or blood orange, roasted flavours.

ORIGIN

Epernay, Champagne France. The 1,190 hectares of rich limestone soil, 50% of which is classed as Grand Cru and 25% Premier Cru, make up the largest vineyard area in Champagne. Underground, the Moët & Chandon cellars are the most extensive in the region. Extending more than 28 kilometres, they form a subterranean labyrinth where the wine metamorphoses under optimum conditions of humidity and temperature.
