TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Bright and golden

Aroma: Our Grand Vintage Malt 1998 is delicate and spicy, with rich, ripe fruity aromas. Captured at its peak, this whisky is shared at its remarkable best.

Taste: Ripe pears, plums and baked apples are drizzled with rich toffee sauce. Then comes gentle oak and creamy vanilla, touched by fresh mint leaves and a spiralling scent of incense. A splash of water reveals Glenmorangie’s classic citrus side, light with lemon and mandarin orange. Sweet tobacco is brushed with lavender and a sprinkling of ginger. Zesty, vibrant fruits pop in the mouth, smoothened by chocolate and soft butter candy, scattered with raisins and figs. Then, deliciously hinting at the new charred oak, comes orange chocolate, spiced with clove, ginger, aniseed and sweet chilli. Subtle and mellow. A harmony of sugared almonds, leather and dates.

PERFECT SERVE

Serve neat or on ice

ORIGIN

Highlands, Scotland. Glenmorangie single malt whisky has been produced at the Glenmorangie Distillery in the Scottish Highlands since 1843. Considered a pioneer in its field, the Scottish House has become famous for combining tradition and innovation to create the finest whiskies, described as “unnecessarily well made”. To achieve this quality, Glenmorangie Scotch whisky is produced with a unique distillation process that uses the tallest stills in Scotland. Expertly matured in only the finest oak casks, the resulting single malt is testament to the savoir-faire that has been passed down from generation to generation by a team of expert craftsmen known as the “Men of Tain”.
